We don't often get the bride's point of view, and certainly not in this kind of way! An intriguing short story. Can't wait for the second half.
I appreciated how the author allows the mystery to breathe. The opening chapters focus on mood and unanswered questions, pulling the reader into a quiet sense of unease. As the story progresses, the middle chapters reveal emotional depth and hidden connections.
The final chapters bring everything together in a way that feels earned and reflective. This is a rewarding read for anyone who enjoys carefully structured mysteries
