Book #4 from the series: Summer Screams

Eternally Beautiful Summer Nights

About

Dolls, ghosts that glitter, and that’s not all. A cursed grandfather clock that chimes randomly. Stories for your eternal summer.

Girl Protected
A doll is given to Rita, an old collectable for protection. But she takes it to school and it is stolen. Can she get it to protect her before it’s too late?

Reiny’s Clock Terror
Reiny was Rita’s old doll locked away in Sara’s attic, and her only way to communicate is through an old clock that doesn’t work properly. When she tampers with the clocks, it’s time she is stopped.

Reiny’s Last Guardian
When Reiny’s owner passes she is given away by family. The new owner Marcus finds how well she can really protect, and she is not just a creepy doll.

The Glitter Veil
Lisa was condemned and covered in glitter a year ago near her apartment. When Felicity moves in she finds glitter that won’t go away and tinkling bells. An important clue is left behind by a murderer on the run.

The Approaching Haunting
Curious teens get into an abandoned Victorian and find an old dollhouse. They fix it up and that’s when the hauntings start. Terri shuts the door every night and it seems the dolls are trying to get out. They communicate their terrible ending and when he blames them for an accident, the end is near. Can he compromise with the ghosts and make them happy?

Praise for this book

This collection surprised me with how emotionally grounded it is. The opening stories pull you in with eerie atmosphere, but by the middle of the book, I was invested in the characters themselves, not just the hauntings.

Reiny’s arc in particular unfolds gradually, shifting from fear to purpose. The later chapters feel reflective rather than frightening, which made the ending linger with me long after finishing.

The pacing is excellent. Shorter chapters early on create tension, while later stories take their time, allowing emotions to settle.
The author clearly understands when to scare and when to pause. It made the book easy to read in one sitting but meaningful enough to revisit

I loved how the book balances creepy elements with warmth. Some chapters are genuinely unsettling, especially early on, but as the collection progresses, the tone softens into something thoughtful and even comforting.
The recurring themes of guardianship and second chances tie everything together beautifully

Eternally Beautiful Summer Nights is a reflective and emotionally grounded collection that explores how quiet moments often carry the deepest meaning. The manuscript shows a clear understanding that growth often comes through reflection, not confrontation, making this collection both thoughtful and rewarding.
